Hand Cast Pewter You Have to See to Believe

Welcome The New Rose Ribbon Featured Artist,

Greg Krynen,

Get to know him…

Featured Artist, Greg Krynen

If you were stranded on a desert island what would you bring: A date, Leatherman tool, and satellite connection so I could update Rose Ribbon with my new Deserted Island Designs. DID I do that.

If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead: My grandparents, they imparted so much knowledge.

Don’t tell anyone but…one of my pendant designs is in Beads 2012! (Interweave Press) Oh wait, that won’t be a secret soon, hmmmm, I like pink.

Your most recent discovery: Cherry Kool-Aid and Sushi really do not go together.

About Greg: Greg Krynen has been creating artwork for sale since the young age of eleven.   As he grew he built up a wide knowledge of materials, methods, procedures, business operations, promotions, and training techniques, that have all lead him to where he is now.   Currently Greg is a technical trainer at a community college during the day and a crafter/business owner on his off time.

Greg’s styles can best be described as eclectic and whimsical.  He always tries to incorporate a theme in his work, while also making sure they are natural, modern, and genre inspired.  Greg has also been known to paint and draw, but primarily his work is in fine jewelry and small sculptures. “Starting in 4th grade I found a piece of telephone trunk line with so many different colored wires inside. I started making rings and bracelets and selling them to my classmates. Since that time I have been in and out of the crafting business both as a hobby and professionally” adds Krynen.

Today, when Greg isn’t at his day job, he is vigorously working on jewelry specializing in hand cast, lead-free, pewter often using stones that he has cut himself.

For $45 this amazing hand cast necklace can be yours from Rose Ribbon.  This little fairy has fallen asleep among the green sparkling leaves of a tree. This handmade gift is hand cast and polished lead free pewter with green glass beads. 22 inches long with a barrel clasp.

Direct from an excursion to Treasure Island, the land of rare, intriguing and beguiling trinkets and wares, this hammered copper drilled and adorned set of earrings is the perfect handmade gift.  It comes with bits of sea foam ceramic and turquoise beads all combined in a two inch chandelier style silver plated base metal ear wires.  Get these earrings from Rose Ribbon for only $12.
